The mack daddy of glitz & glamour
Bob Mackie is bold, some may even say brazen when it comes to design. He once famously said, “A woman who wears my clothes is not afraid to be noticed.”
Vegas is a conglomeration of unique and exciting experiences, and a slew of unique jobs naturally goes along with the territory. Showgirls, Elvis impersonators, lounge singers. It's all commonplace here.
When you come to the city of excess, everything is bigger—including the food. At the Peppermill, a Vegas institution, you can order a 10-egg omelet for breakfast — and still be eating it through lunch. At Hash House A Go Go, a 15-inch pancake that comes to the table will often leave the table — in a to-go box. These are two examples of the big portions here in Vegas.

Celebrate Halloween Vegas Style
Other cities may have their annual parades and customary parties, but if you're really looking to tap into your inner sinner and indulge in everything that Halloween is all about, Vegas is the place to be.
It's like something out of a movie – a pool of the top 40 bull riders on the planet, 12 of them statistically in reach of the world title, all gearing up for a showdown in Las Vegas.
Makeup is used as a powerful tool to convey emotion, enhance costumes and create memorable characters in many Las Vegas productions. Makeup artists and performers all over town work hard behind the scenes to make sure that the final product audiences see on stage leaves a lasting impression.
Boom, boom. The sonic boom collides with the eardrums like an explosion in the otherwise placid desert air.
You won't find sequins or feathers at these dance revues. What you will see are hard-bodied hunks wearing thongs and knee pads.

We know, you came to Vegas to get away from the massive list of rules you have to play by every day — don't stand here, don't park there, don't put that cat there — and Sin City wants to indulge you, really. But partying in our nightclubs can get a little tricky — especially if you aren’t aware of some of the unspoken rules that govern Vegas' nocturnal carnival.

No trip to Vegas is complete without a souvenir to commemorate the experience. But, trying to pack that bulky, oddly-shaped souvenir drink glass can be quite a challenge. And, chances are, it won't be long before that pair of fuzzy dice or deck of playing cards ends up in the junk drawer, collecting dust.
